Pennsylvanian Winter

“Pennsylvanian Winter” depicts my childhood backyard, the shed my father built, and the hills I rode my sled upon during heavy early 2000s-2020’s winter storms in on the East Coast. Little did I know back then, when I captured a photo of this sunset through bare trees upon glistening snow, that I would later become obsessively fixated on the painting this very subject.
